It has been some time since our last blog post. This does not mean we have not been busy. While the updates in our Blog have been somewhat neglected. It does not mean we have forgotten about them.
In the coming months we hope to get back to regular updates on the platform and news at Concept Sauce.
Let us therefore give you an update on what has been going in the passed months. On the platform and business level.
Business Update
We have added to our existing clients a few big names, ones we cannot quite mention here, however, these are major players in the FMCG industry.
This has been exciting times for us, as work ever closer with them on resolving some of their challenges.
These challenges vary from POSM to packaging optimisation.
Objective: Enhance shelf visibility and consumer findability through a more impactful colored tray display.
Goal: Increase product pick-up and selection, driving stronger sales performance.
Approach: Test the new display in a simulated large-format grocery environment (e.g., Walmart or Target).
Scope: Include the brand’s updated display within a realistic sports drink aisle and a full competitive set.
Outcome: Validate design effectiveness and inform final in-store execution to maximize commercial results.
Drive stronger shelf standout and improve consumer findability, the new colored tray display must deliver greater visual impact in-store. This change is designed to increase product pick-up and selection, ultimately supporting stronger commercial performance for the brand. To validate this, we will conduct consumer research using a realistic mock-up of a large grocery environment (e.g., Walmart or Target), replicating the main sports drink aisle and including the full competitive set alongside the brand’s updated display.
It is great to see how our approach and results have impacted the product launches. Greater uplift and positive results at-shelf.
Exciting times and we look forward to helping new clients achieve great results.
Platform Update
Our online shelf-builder platform continues to grow. The main goal for this year has been to harden and improve the stability of the system.
This means that we have improved logging for all services, allowing us to see more easily any issues that occur. This helps us avoid and debug software or respondent misbehaviour.
Work on this is ongoing and will give any future collaborates great confidence in feature development through better system documentation and logging.
On the virtual shelf capability’s, recently, we have added extra features to our conjoint shelf builder.
It is now possible to include original prices as well as the discounted prices on labels, also you can add more levels in the attributes. allowing you to create more permutations with varying options.
Another great feature we added to the virtual shelf platform is the ability to publish to a fixed UTL, meaning that it is now easier to integrate the shelf into any survey, simply publish and then use the fixed URL.

As always, we have other developments in the pipeline and we will be looking to showcase this once they are ready for prime time.
